The New School Now Open

From 25 February, students have moved into our fantastic state-of-the-art building. The building now contains all the latest technology and furnishings needed by today's eager learners. The school's new features include:

Interactive Whiteboards are in every classroom.
Brand new furniture is in all rooms.
There are many new high spec computers.
We have a new cashless catering system, allowing students to whizz through Cafe Mojo paying with their fingerprint. Three pay stations are available to re-charge student accounts, or parents can pay through the Finance Office.
Security cameras keep students safe within the school.
Water fountains are dotted around the school.
There is a new LRC with a panoramic view of the area, new security system, new computers and resources.

To complement the new building, we have brought in some new systems to improve the student experience at Failsworth.

New Gold Medal system to help students improve their behaviour and learning experience, with rewards for good behaviour and consequences for poor behaviour.
Students are no longer able to leave the school during the day, making them safer and more focussed on their learning.
The School Day has been re-arranged, since no Movement time is needed.
