Official Opening Ceremony Images
The new building for Failsworth School was officially opened on Monday 16 June 2008 by Right Honourable Andy Burnham MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport.
The ceremony included a morning of music and dance and speeches from students, Headmaster - Mr D Johnson, Vice Chair of Governors - Judith Heyes and Right Honourable Andy Burnham MP. Following the ceremony there was a tour of the new school, ending in the school's showpiece area, the LRC.
