Sports Presentation Evening 2008
2007/8 proved to be another successful and exciting year of sport for Failsworth School. In line with our status as a Specialist Sports College, many individual and team successes were achieved. These were recognised in an evening of celebration on 6 July. Not only were awards handed out, but the many talented pupils here at Failsworth showcased their performances.
Katharaine Merry, Olympic bronze medallist in the 400m at the Sydney Olympics, was there to deliver the keynote speech and present the awards. She was joined by 150 pupils and 300 parents, guests and school staff.
Thanks to everyone involved for making it such a successful and fun evening.
