Exam Success at Failsworth School
The Class of 2007 were very successful in their GCSE and other qualifications. 54% gained 5 A*-C, 60% of these including Maths and English.
Key Stage 3 results broke all previous school records. The level 6+ in Science put the subject in the top 300 schools in the country and has meant the school will be one of the few allowed to offer Triple Science at Key Stage 4. The year group (Class of 2010) can look toward GCSE final exams with confidence.
The class of 2008 and 2009 are also in line to further improve school exam results.
